How Lumira Submit handles the information we record to keep the platform safe.

Abuse prevention & access-control monitoring

To protect Lumira Submit against fraud and abuse, our servers record a small set of technical details each time you take a security-relevant action. This section explains exactly what we collect, why, who can see it, and how long we keep it.

What we collect

Your IP address and your browser’s user-agent (the identifier your browser sends describing its type and version). These are observed by our servers — never read from a field you fill in — and are recorded as events at three moments: signing up, signing in, and submitting a deal. That is the full extent of it: no other device or location data is gathered for this purpose.

Why we collect it

Solely for fraud/abuse prevention and platform access controls. These records let us detect patterns that warrant a closer look — for example, many accounts created from one address. This is monitoring that flags activity for a person to review; it is not automated punishment, and being flagged never automatically restricts or blocks your account.

Who can see it

RIC administrators only. Access is enforced by admin-only access controls in our database — other clients and funding partners can never see your IP address or user-agent, and this information is not shared with any third party or used for anything beyond the abuse-prevention and access-control purpose described here.

How long we keep it

These monitoring records are retained for 180 days, after which they are automatically purged.
